Centaur Of Attention

Centaur of Attention

One of the most underrated heroes, Centaur of Attention has been the oldest character around (and the most underused). I used to think he sucked, till my buddy Beard told me his ways. Centaur of Attention is only good when played right and in the right team. "He plays a certain role" - Beard Enchanter.

Skills:

Centaur's special, Blunt Force Trauma, sends multiple arrows flying across the field, attacking all foes, dealing physical bashing damage. The less foes on the screen, the more damage inflicted onto those foes. Blunt Force Trauma spreads damage, so if there are five foes on the screen, one of the foes will get only a percentage. The arrow hitting is slightly random. If there is only one foe on the screen, all of Blunt Force Trauma's arrows will hit that target. His special is based on basic damage.
Centaur's green skill, Nobody's Fool, shoots an arrow that deals hefty damage and "fools" the enemy. Fooled enemies get their attack speed and movement speed cut down by 25%. This skill is based on basic damage and skill level (Level 100 Nobody's Fool will always fool foes Level 100 and lower).
Centaur's blue skill, Awkward Silence, shoots a small volley of arrows at foes in front of him, silencing them for a few seconds. Silenced foes cannot use attacks based on Skill Power. This skill is based off of skill level, just like Nobody's Fool. Centaur's purple skill, Rallying Cry, grants all allies x amount of basic damage. This skill is based off of skill level. Centaur's legendary skill, Quintessential Quiver, grants his white skill, Blunt Force Trauma, an energy reducing effect every time an enemy dies. Each time an enemy does die, he gains 1 Arrow. The next time Centaur uses Blunt Force Trauma, all stored Arrows are consumed. Each arrow reduces the enemy's energy by x (120 at level 1). This is especially good against back end damage dealers who rely on their special, like Genie.

Rune Sets:

Flame Blood is recommended for Centaur. Other sets you could use on Centaur are Flame and the rest of the 2 set runes, or Bolt/River and the rest of the 2 set runes. I run Flame Tree on my Centaur as I already have enough Life Steal on the minor runes (108). Hail would've been nice, but I didn't have good enough Hail runes for him and a 30+ accuracy isn't going to be much against certain O5+ heroes and their 690 dodge (at full enchants). Ocean doesn't do anything on Centaur.

Rune Bonuses:

Basic Damage, Attack Speed, Armor Penetration, Fury, Bashing Damage, Life Steal, Crit Damage + Rating, Dodge, Cooldown Reduction, Expertise, Conservation, Longer Disables, Tenacity, Armor + Magic Resistance + Max Health Growth, Accuracy

Unnecessary, but do have a positive effect bonuses:

Movement Speed, Starting Energy

Ending Note:

Everyone dislikes him, but only a few realize his true potential. Water Wyrm, Savage Cutie, and Storm Drake are next (as they're getting incoming legendary skills).

  1. So who would you pair centaur with? Any examples of line combos involving him? I've been looking for a counter to crimson witch
